Masterclass 2: Mechanical ventilation – making sense of the machine will now be presented at the Drager booth – numbers 5 & 6.
SGD 23: Transoral airway surgery: avoiding the pitfalls and perils will now be on at 1545-1645, Riverbank 3.
Offsite workshop (held at University of Adelaide) – Can’t Intubate Can’t Oxygenate High-Fidelity Simulation (ANZCA ER: CICO) will now also be presented by Dr Philippa Lane and Dr Doris Tang. This workshop will take 2 hours and will run into the lunch break.
Plenary Session 2: Longterm brain dysfunction after anesthesia and surgery – what we know and what we want to know will now be chaired by Dr Rod Mitchell.

Point-of-care coagulation testing in obstetric haemorrhage will no longer be presented by Dr Surbhi Molhotra, but will be presented by Dr Erin Chamberlen.

SGD 22: The dilemma of small-town and private bariatric anaesthesia, Dr Richard W. Watts. Moved to 1030-1130, Riverbank 1.
VCV 500 x 10 – time to rethink the default settings? will now be presented by Dr Simon Hockley.
Medicolegal discussion – AVANT is now called ‘Medico-legal Perspective’ and will now be presented by Amy Davis.
Tracheostomy and ultrasound of the neck will now also be presented by the instructors Dr Jan Akervall, Dr Kirstie Morandell, Dr Mark Pulletz, Dr Donna Willmot and Dr Chris Acott.
Fibreoptic, rigid and flexible bronchoscopy will now also be presented by the instructors Prof Friedrich Pühringer, Dr David Zalcberg, Dr Chris Acott, Dr Jan Akervall, Prof Ellen O’Sullivan and Dr Joey Ng
Masterclass 3 – Elephants in rooms: taking care of colleagues and trainees will now be presented by Dr Tracey Tay.

TUESDAY 9 OCTOBER
Welfare of Anaesthetists SIG will now be presented by Prof Drew Dawson (Fatigue), Dr Bethan Richards (Physicians Welfare), and Dr Caitlin Weston (Churchill Fellowship).
Editor’s Session Ian Seppelt will no longer be presenting, but will be replaced by Dr Kwok Ho.
