The free City Connector bus is an easy way of navigating around Adelaide, look out for bus 98C or 98A. Adelaide is great to tour by bike as well. The ACC is a designated pick-up and drop-off point for Adelaide Free Bikes – an initiative run by the Adelaide City Council. All you need is a valid driver’s licence, passport or Australian proof of age card! [back to top]
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a broad-based ten percent tax included in the shelf price of most Australian goods and services. The Tourist Refund Scheme allows international travellers to claim a GST refund (subject to certain conditions) on goods purchased in Australia. The refund only applies to items worn or goods taken on board as hand luggage when leaving the country.
Travellers to Australia need a valid passport or similar certificate of identification. Everyone, except travellers with Australian and New Zealand passports, requires a visa. You may ask your travel agent for advice or to have them organise your visa.
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Australian Society of Anaesthetists nor International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the Congress or for theft or damage to belongings. Name Badges and Lanyards
Name badges will be issued when registering at the Congress. For security purposes the Congress name badge must be worn at all times during the Congress and social functions. Entry may be denied if no name badge is displayed. [back to top]
While attending the Congress you may be photographed. By registering for the Congress you agree to these photographs being used for promotional purposes. [back to top]

Information collected with respect to your registration for participation in this meeting will only be used for the purposes of planning, conduct of the event or communication regarding future events. These details may be made available to parties directly related to the Congress, including (but not limited to) International Conferences & Events, venues, accommodation and travel providers (for the purposes of room/travel bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and other related parties as deemed necessary.
It is also usual practice to produce a ‘Delegate List’ of attendees at the Congress and to include the individual’s details in such a list. By completing the registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for the above purposes.
