After completing fellowships at Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital in Regional Anaesthesia, Dr Alastair Browne joined the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2014 as a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist with a special interest in Regional Anaesthesia. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and has extensive teaching experience highlighted by the Regional Anaesthesia Workshop (RAW), a cadaveric ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia workshop, which he convenes. Dr Browne was also one of the first in the world to receive international certification of minimal skills acquisition for ultra-sound guided regional anaesthesia and point-of-care interventional procedures from NYSORA.
